American confectionery and food company founded in 1911 by Frank C. Mars in Tacoma, Washington. Mars produces some of the world's most recognised chocolate bars including Snickers, Milky Way, Twix, and Mars bars, as well as pet food brands Pedigree and Whiskas. The company remains family-owned.
