British lozenge brand founded in 1865 by pharmacist James Lofthouse in Fleetwood, Lancashire. Originally formulated as a strong menthol and eucalyptus remedy for fishermen working in harsh North Sea conditions, the lozenges are now sold in over 100 countries in a wide variety of flavours.
