Beck - The prize of the revenge is a Swedish feature film recorded in May 2001. This is the ninth film with Peter Haber and Mikael Persbrandt in the lead roles

Dag Sjöberg, Victor Bengtsson and Santos Golenza are three young criminals. When they get punctured after a burglary on a regiment, two police officers offer them help. One of the police recognizes Sjöberg and in addition, the car is full of stolen explosives. The two police officers were found murdered the following day. Martin Beck and his colleagues are tasked with finding the murderers.

For Gunvald Larsson, this means a personal crisis because he was a friend of one of the murdered police officers and starts looking for the murderers on their own
